Tour Plan

Travel Time: ~5–6 hours (350 km)

Morning:

  • Depart early from Kampala or Entebbe

  • Scenic drive via Fort Portal, passing tea plantations and the Rwenzori Mountains

Afternoon:

  • Arrive in Kibale Forest National Park

  • Visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary – a guided swamp walk to spot monkeys, birds, and local flora

Evening:

Overnight:

    • Trek can last 2–6+ hours depending on gorilla group location

  • Transfer to airstrip for return flight or start drive back to Entebbe
